Evelyn has traveled back in time to find herself menaced by a gang of bandits. Rescued by her mysterious ancestor Élisabeth Chénier who is wearing a locket identical to her own, Evelyn discovers it is the year 1812. The magic powers of the two lockets and the presence of her friend Patrick give Evelyn the courage to free Élisabeth from a tragic fate. Travelling between the past and present, she dares to change the course of history and in so doing succeeds in overcoming her own fears.
