A recruiting film showing the thorough training the Royal Canadian Army Cadets receive in aircraft recognition, mechanics, first aid and map-reading. After a portion of his training is completed, the cadet is assigned to a company and sent to camp where he takes part in field exercises and experiences a taste of real battle conditions. The final scenes show a group of cadets having a camp fire meal after a strenuous day in the field.
