A young officer just finished Officers' Training Corps takes command of a Canadian army platoon on the West Coast. He discovers that there are problems in handling a vigorous group of young men impatient for action overseas. But he finds the secret of making himself one of his men, while leading them, and by the time the platoon is ready to go overseas he has completely won their confidence.
