A tall, good looking young farmer realizes that the roots that were holding him to the world that he knew so well and that he loved so much, are suddenly cut off. Momentarily he builds up his own artificial world in which he doesn't find any satisfaction. Since he can't go back to the past he finds adventure in the mafia in which he plays the part of a hoodman.
