The Farm – a 13 part series, invites viewers to roll up their sleeves and become part of the farm-to-table food uprising that’s catching on in America: food shopping, cooking and eating in a way that’s eco-conscious, healthy, fresh, and fun. Each of the season’s thirteen episodes includes three cooking segments that include easy recipes, utilizing all-natural ingredients from your own backyard or your local market.

Host Ian Knauer was a food editor for Gourmet Magazine for nine years, and co-hosted the magazine's two award-winning television shows, Diary of a Foodie and Adventures with Ruth. He is a contributing writer for Bon Appetit, Gilt Taste, Men's Health, and was a co-host of Unique Eats on the Cooking Channel. His cookbook also titled, The Farm was released in 2012 by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and was nominated for an IACP Award.
