Beginning their journey in Winnipeg, the six travelers meet with prominent Indigenous activist Michael Redhead Champagne who sheds some light on the journey ahead. The participants work with two community driven movements who deal with safety and murdered and missing Indigenous women before heading north to the remote Inuit community of Kimmirut where they encounter a shared economy movement that ensures everyone can eat due to the incredibly high cost of store-bought food.
