The Dinosaur Discovery Gallery exhibits feature dinosaur and fossil heritage of the Peace Region and a sample from the nearby 115 million year old tyrannosaur track way, the only one in the world. The Peace Region Paleontology Research Centre wants to people to develop a new awareness and awe of these ancient specimens of life. Researchers are able to draw conclusions about the movement patterns and speed of dinosaurs from the track ways as they uncover these historic paths. Tourism is bringing new hope to a local economy originally dependent on coal mines.
