CTV News Chief and Senior Editor Lisa LaFlamme sits down with Conservative Leader Andrew Sheer to talk about his party's platforms for the upcoming Federal Election. Sheer discusses his desire to make life more affordable through lower taxes for all and putting money into Canadian pockets. He wants Canada to regain its fiscal health by making a balanced budget that cuts corporate welfare, foreign aid, and eliminates "Ottawa March Madness". Sheer expresses that whether there is a coalition government or not, the Conservative party will not depend on other parties to implement their agenda. LaFlamme also addresses the negative tone of the Conservative campaign and asks Sheer on his decision to not attend the Climate Change Strike as well as the Pride Parade, in which Sheer expresses that he will not let personal views impact government policy.
