- Sitting Bull, the Sioux and the circumstances surrounding their presence in Cypress Hills.
- The Whisky Trade which culminated in the Cypress Hills Massacre.
- The Introduction of the Northwest Mounted Police and the tactics which distinguished this force from other institutions of the day.
- The dissapearance of the buffalo and how this affected the regional Indian Nations.
