GATAGA RIVER, BC

Join four intrepid adventurers as they float down British Columbia's wild Gataga River from the heart of the Northern Rocky Mountains and into the Rocky Mountain trench. Wildlife, including moose, caribou, Stone sheep and mountain goat, teems from the shores and mountainsides, abundant prey for the healthy population of wolves and grizzly bears. The Kaska Dene have hunted and traveled its game trails for centuries, and are involved in efforts to preserve the region in a provincial park.
