In this film without narration, we are confronted with an allegorical suggestion of the destructive tendencies in high-pressure modern society and self-centred man. Panicked, a harried man runs blindly through a city (and symbolically through his entire life), pausing only for sustenance and tranquilizers, until he falls into a grave which he has dug and buries himself.

Designed for mature audiences, this dramatic film could lead to discussion of the meaning and purpose of human existence.
