Mom uncovers a cockroach phones for pest control help. Beanie knows something is up and soon uncovers his goldfish’s plan: to send fiery cockroaches to the North Pole, where they will melt the Polar Ice Caps, flooding the world. Beanie struggles to prevent his goldfish’s departure but fails. Unaware of the unfolding drama, Mom struggles to overcome her phobia and resolves to exterminate the bugs on her own. Refusing to admit defeat, Beanie climbs onto the vacuum cleaner the goldfish was using to inflate his dirigible and turns it into a projectile that shoots out of the apartment window with Beanie on board. He rockets right up to the dirigible and jumps aboard, and, with quick thinking, manages to destroy both the device, and Admiral Bubbles’ hopes. The damaged dirigible spirals out of control with both on board, and lands on Beanie’s apartment ledge. Teetering on the brink of disaster, Beanie uses desperate measures to keep their balance and capture his goldfish. They crash back into the apartment just as Mom was starting to relax a bit, thinking she chased the bugs away.
