In this fantastical coming of age story set in the Okanagan, an adopted indigenous teenager, new in a small town, navigates peer pressure and the desire to fit in. Zaraya’s next-door neighbour urges her to search for the legendary lake monster, N’xaxaitkw—known to settlers as Ogopogo. However, she quickly learns that her new friend might be harbouring some secrets and ulterior motives of their own.
