Zuri is an 8-year-old artist who lives in Pickering, Ontario with her family. Both of her parents’ families originate from Guyana, Jamaica, and St. Vincent. Zuri loves to express herself through her paintings, spoken word poetry and quilting. And she shows us why quilts were significant in black history and the Underground Railroad.
This season's adventures include an 8-year-old Caribbean Carnival princess, a 10-year-old Canadian-Bahamian trans girl who is a superstar in vogueing, and a 10-year-old Guinean-Canadian competitive swimmer who also loves learning how to make his favourite dishes with his mom!
