Becoming Albertan, hosted by Brandy Yanchyk, is a travel show that exhibits exhilarating experiences in Alberta, as told through the perspective of new immigrants. The 47 minute travel show takes the viewer on a Rocky Mountain Adventure; caving in Canmore's Rat's Nest Cave; rafting down the Athabasca River, a designated Canadian Heritage River; walking on the Columbia Icefields and feeding our adrenaline on the new cliff-edge Glacier Skywalk in Jasper National Park. Mountain climbing is explored on the new Mount Norquay Via Ferrata in Banff National Park, where steel cables are run and fixed to the mountain. For a historical perspective, we explore Edmonton's Heritage Park Historical Village; are introduced to Canada's iconic bison at the North Shore Homestead; try a spot of sport fishing in Lesser Slave Lake; and learn about the history and connection to the land at the Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump World Heritage Site.

Produced by Brandy Yanchyk.
