The View From Up Here is a satirical “found‑footage” documentary series in which Lakehead historian Tom Peotto uses decades of local news clips and regional archives to reinterpret twentieth‑century Canadian history through a Thunder Bay lens. Created by Ron Harpelle and Kelly Saxberg, the series extends their Reel Memories of the Lakehead project by transforming everyday small‑town life into sharp, humorous public history.
