Storytelling is an important way of keeping culture and language alive. Manitoulin Island and Orillia are two Ontario communities that are using oral structure as a means of preserving language and culture.  We meet Sandy Reilly, founder of the Nookmis and Mishoomis, a unique story telling group of Grandmothers and Grandfathers.  This exceptional project, based on The Mother Goose Project, helps mothers to read, write and talk to their children by using nursery rhymes and songs in the Ojibwe language.
