Sing the World Better is an uplifting documentary that follows Lauda, a unique youth ensemble within the Shallaway Youth Choir (Newfoundland and Labrador) that welcomes participants of all neurotypes. Over ten weeks, the film captures the group’s journey toward their final concert, highlighting the inclusive, supportive environment created by conductor Kellie Walsh.
Through music,friendship, and honest storytelling, the choristers share their experiences of belonging and growth in a world that often challenges them, revealing the powerful impact of acceptance, community, and creative expression.
Led by Artistic Director Kellie Walsh, the Shallaway family currently comprises over 400 choristers in nine ensembles, alongside a team of over 15 music educators.
