Accompanied by his older brother Carlos, young Adam attempts the perilous desert crossing between Mexico and the United States. Deprived of the smuggler who was supposed to help them get to Long Beach where their mother is waiting, the two young people risk everything. Just as the desert is about to swallow them up, a phone booth appears like a mirage. “Pacific Bell” is a fable about two migrant children left to their own devices, told through the overflowing imagination of young Adam, for whom the desert resembles the seabed, and that phone ringing that resonates in the immensity, like a siren's song.

Film is in Spanish with English subtitles.
