At the Royal Tyrrell Museum's 'Devil's Coulee Dinosaur Egg Site' in Warner, Alberta, fossil hunter Wendy Sloboda digs in the dirt for a living. She was instrumental in finding this site, the first dinosaur nesting site in Canada, and 'wendiceratops' is named in her honour. Dinosaur egg shells and embryos found here are now on exhibit, and visitors can go out into the field and experience what it would be like to be a paleontoligist. In more remote sites like the Milk River Valley, paleontologists work to fill in gaps in the dinosaur fossil record to better understand of how they evolved and changed before their mass extinction at the end of the Cretaceous Period. It it sheds light on how we're affecting our ecosystem today. There are many places in the world where paleontology has barely scratched the surface of potential discoveries and the next generation will uncover more information about the history of life on earth.
