Kristine Verendia, a recent graduate from Ryerson University, shares her experience as she prepares to enter the fulltime workforce. While university exams are over for Canadian students, the task of finding a job presents an entirely type of different test for newly graduated students. "I think the scariest thing about university is not knowing where you might go. You're finishing your education and now it kind of forces you to be an adult," said Verendia. "You have to go out there and you have to get a job, " Verendia told Canada AM.
The 5 5-minute segments in this program will gives students significant information about the do's and don'ts of job interviews, how to make an impression, getting experience, and basic manners. Students get expert advice from Mark Swartz, Career Specialist, Author and Speaker; Debbie Dimoff, Career Strategist and Executive Coach; and Geoffrey Roche, Chief Creative Officer at Lowe Roche.
