Everything in universe is made up of small building blocks called atoms. And almost all atoms are connected to other atoms, forming molecules. Atoms are too small to see even through a microscope, so we use models to represent them. In this film you will get to know more about our smallest building blocks. For example, you will learn that substances consisting of just one type of atoms are called elements, and that substances consisting of several different types of atoms are called chemical compounds. Finally the film will show you the ongoing cycle of atoms, and explain that atoms don’t disappear, they just transform into new substances.
