The new Muskwa Kechika protected area is known as the "Serengeti of the North". This pristine wilderness in northeastern British Columbia is home to an incredible number of wildlife species; and supports the largest predator-prey system in North America. The park also represents a ground-breaking approach to land management. It rests in another larger management area, which accommodates both resource development and conservation.
