This video highlights the resilience and creativity of Indigenous community members in Winnipeg’s North End. Kevin Walker and the Bear Clan Patrol, provide nightly safety patrols, food, and support to residents while building trust and empowering Indigenous women and youth. Artist Peatr Thomas uses murals and youth workshops to reclaim Indigenous culture, heal from personal trauma, and mentor young people through art. Musician Caid Jones found identity and healing through hip‑hop and built collaborative creative spaces that give back to the community. Together, their stories show how grassroots leadership, cultural expression, and compassion are transforming their neighbourhood and strengthening Indigenous identity.
