Eleven-year-old Shelby holds the title of Miss Minis Six Nations. She is very close to her Native roots: she lives on a reserve, speaks fluent Cayuga and is a jingle dress dancer at pow wows. Rebecca is a ten year-old Dutch bee farmer near Guelph, Ontario. She plays a big part in her family's business in Carlisle, helping to collect combs, smoke bees, make honey and work in the small shop that sells bee and maple products.

The Swap: Shelby learns everything about bee farming - from collecting her own combs to extracting her own honey, while Rebecca immerses herself in Native Culture through food, language and dance at her first ever pow wow.
