Métis Femme Bodies examines the repressed identity formed at the intersection of Indigenous and femme embodiments, historically subjected to systemic marginalization. It seeks to restore visibility and voice to those denied self-representation, challenging dominant misrepresentations, and advancing a corrective framework grounded in lived experience, cultural continuity, and embodied knowledge.

The film shows Métis people inspecting their bodies clad only in underwear, and showing their torsos or legs. The femme bodies are of varying size, shapes and colours. Layered over these images are voices reflecting on the experience of navigating the world in Métis bodies.
