In UT, the voice of the spirit of the canoe speaks of its relationship with the Creator who shaped it so it could travel. Kantuut’s knowledge allowed him to take shape and spend time on the land with Raymond. This latter, who is 87, helps four living generations to fulfill the canoe’s dream of being repaired and put back on the water. They make unforgettable memories together. The younger generations create images in the worn canvas as a visual souvenir. This video depicts an important moment n the family's history in the Pekuakamiulnuatsh First Nation, Lac Saint-Jean, QC.
Film is narrated in French with English subtitles.
