In this series opener, we meet the four Bears (contest judges) and the first three Indigenous-owned businesses competing for the episode prize of $10,000 and the chance to win the grand prize of $100,000! Competitors include the Métis owners of Alberta Canine Inc. who currently train working canines to help tribal police find opioids; the Cree founder of Indigenous Box Inc, which provides a subscription custom indigenous artisan gift program; and Sapling and Flint, a Six Nations retail and wholesale gold and silver jewelry manufacturer.

Dakota & Jesse- Mohawk Nation - Ohswé:ken, ON – SAPLING & FLINT - A jewelry industry leader for luxury products that are Indigenous-made, bringing arts-based job opportunities to their home village of Ohswé:ken, and sharing the story of Turtle Island with the world from a place of authenticity and true experiences.

Mallory Yawnghwe – Cree - Edmonton, AB – INDIGNEOUS BOX, INC - a subscription box and corporate gift service featuring products created by Indigenous artists and makers from across Canada, from soaps to food items to jewellery and artwork.

Matt Lapointe – Métis - Gull Lake, AB – ALBERTA K9 – Alberta’s Working Dog Specialists who currently train working canines to help tribal police find opioids.
