In this new production, you will discover the official symbols and emblems for each of the 13 provinces and territories of Canada. Included are the motto provincial/territorial flag, coat of arms, flower, bird, and tree. In addition, students are given a brief, yet interesting introduction into the history and/ or geography of their province. Each 5 minute segment is concluded with a fun "Did You Know" fact. All programs are hosted by young students aged 7 to 16. They give you background information on each particular symbol, it's history, why and when it was chosen. You have your choice of purchasing all 13 segments or just your own province or territory. Complete program includes: 13 segments (each approx. 5 minutes), Chaptered DVD with images for use in class projects, 44 page resource guide with reproducible student handouts (in print and pdf).
