Dallas Goldtooth (Mdewakanton Dakota & Dińe) is the Keystone XL Campaign Organizer for the Indigenous Environmental Network. He co-founded the Indigenous comedy group The 1491s and is a Dakota culture & language teacher. He is also a poet, traditional artist, powwow emcee, comedian, and proud father. The topic of truth and reconciliation is no laughing matter. But humour can be used to heal. He pokes fun at native stereotypes, but takes ownership of his identity.
