This program introduces and explores root words, prefixes, suffixes and spelling rules.  Each concept is introduced and exemplified with grade-level words important for students to know.  Students see how author J.K. Rowling utilizes root words, prefixes and suffixes to bring her writing to life and enthrall the reader, thus fostering a love for language and encouraging students to be creative and specific with their own descriptive writing.
