INDIGENOUS DAY LIVE is the world’s premier celebration of the unique heritage, diverse cultures, and outstanding contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis people. The 2018 celebration showcased indigenous musicians performing on three live stages: Ottawa, Toronto, and Winnipeg. This video features performances by:

  • Oh My Darling, A Winnipeg based band inspired by country and blues with Francophone-Métis influences;
  • Welland Ontario Mohawk singer/songwriter, two-spirited Shawnee has musical roots in R & B, pop, and alternative genres;
  • Attawapiskat First Nation, Midnight Shine with lead singer Adrian Sutherland perform “James Bay”;
  • Six Nations of the Grand River, singer/songwriter Logan Staats;
  • From Nunavut, Kelly Fraser’s album ‘Sedna’ was nominated for a 2018 Juno Indigenous Album of the year.
