The Pour tout dire series is intended for high school students, ages 12-14 years, in core French (FSL) and French Immersion programs. La Carte de la mort: Pai Sang and Julien find a card with a skeleton and a scythe. Worried, they search for a way out of the aqueduct, while avoiding Monsieur St-Germain and Émile, the two thieves who are hot on their heels. Finally, they emerge from the aqueduct...into a cemetery! A horse-drawn carriage passes by, sending them off on another trail. Le Paradis est à l'ouest: The horse-drawn carriage leads Pai Sang and Julien to a fortune-teller who tells them where the treasure is hidden. But Monsieur St-Germain and Émile were eavesdropping and get there first. Finding a small chest containing only a few chocolates and a peacock feather, they feel they've been tricked. La Plume de paon: Discouraged because they have arrived too late, Pai Sang and Julien go back to the store, sorry they let themselves be led on by the old aunt. Émile feels guilty and comes to give them the chest, which contains only a peacock feather--the final clue. The real treasure appears and the store is saved.(Films in French, useful for teaching French as a Second Language.)
